Long story here. A long time ago, a friend of mine was telling me about a gang of miscreants came out of the woods and damaged her yard. In her desperation in telling the story, she mixed up the words, "hoods with sticks" and instead said, "sticks with hoods" - I immediately got the image of big sticks coming out of the forest wearing hoods and attacking her yard. Naturally, I found this worthy of writing about. Weird.
